Azerbaijan's squad for matches against Bahrain and Hungary unveiled

The squad of Azerbaijan national team for the friendly match with Bahrain and the qualifying group match of Euro-2020 with Hungary were announced.

Report informs referring to the official website of AFFA that head coach Nikola Jurčević has named 23 players for the upcoming matches.

Sumgait defender Shahriyar Aliyev was invited after a year and Spain's Albacete FC midfielder Eddy Israfilov after a six-month break.

Team members who will meet on October 6 will leave for Bahrain on October 8 after two days of training in Baku.Following the friendly match on 9 October, the team will travel to Hungary.

Notably, the Bahrain-Azerbaijan match, which will be held on October 9 in Riffa, will begin at 8:30 pm Baku time. The match against Hungary will be held on October 13 at the Groupama Arena in Budapest at 20:00.
