Azerbaijan provides financial aid to football referees

The Azerbaijani government has provided one-time financial assistance to professional football referees who are facing difficulties due to the coronavirus pandemic, Report informs. Such support was helpful for the referees since they have a TIN and are taxpayers.

Depending on the amount of tax, each referee received financial aid ranging from 500 to 1,000 AZN.

Notably, on March 13, Azerbaijani Premier League and Division I suspended the matches due to a pandemic.
