Azerbaijan's position in the UEFA rankings has changed.
According to Report, this was due to Garabagh's 4-0 victory over Northern Macedonia's Sileks in the first qualifying round of the Champions League.
Azerbaijan, which scored 0.375 points, rose from 26th to 24th place with 14,750 points. The 3: 6 defeat of Astana, Kazakhstan's representative, to Belarus' Dinamo (Brest) also caused it.
The Norwegian and Romanian champions are currently below Azerbaijan in the rankings. They will join the competition today, and if Molde and the CFR win the Champions League, Azerbaijan could lose its 24th place.
Garabagh will face the winner of the pair Sheriff (Moldova) - Fola Ash (Luxembourg) in the second qualifying round. The matches of this round will take place on August 25-26. Sileks will continue to compete in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League.
