AFFA suspends two players from football for participation in contractual matches

AFFA Disciplinary Committee convened for an extraordinary meeting today.

According to Report, the meeting was organized in connection with suspicious events recorded at several matches of Agsu club participating in the 1st Division. According to the proceedings, conducted by the special commission on contractual games at AFFA and experts, as well as according to the information received from UEFA in AFFA, it was established that club players Elchin Hashimov and Ruslan Mirzaliyev participated in contractual games.

Based on the conclusion of the commission and experts, UEFA data and reports, before the end of the proceedings, a ban was placed on any football activity of both persons.

AFFA will apply to law enforcement authorities in the appropriate manner in connection with the matter.
