AFFA President: "I am sure that we will witness spectacular matches in Euro-2020 qualifiers"

Baku. 3 December. REPORT.AZ/ "First of all, it is possible to say that we are familiar with each team in the group," AFFA President Rovnag Abdullayev said.

According to Report, Rovnag Abdullayev was commenting on a draw for Euro-2020 qualifiers.

The federation chief said that the Azerbaijani squad played these teams in the world and European cups qualifiers in different years.

"Football is a dynamically developing sport. Undoubtedly, the match of every team is going through changes and innovations from time to time. I am sure that we will witness spectacular matches in Euro-2020 qualifiers. We wish success and joy of victory to our national squad. Euro-2020 is an important tournament for us in the organizational point of view. The four matches of the final round will be held at the Baku Olympic stadium. In this viewpoint, I wish success to each member of the Azerbaijani football family in the upcoming period."

Notably, Azerbaijani footballers will play Croatia, Slovakia, Wales and Hungary.
