AFFA official: Ndlovu's delayed and demonstrative falling misled referee
Report

Baku. 19 October. REPORT.AZ/ The rival footballer made a foul towards him in the episode of Dino Ndlovu”

Chairman of the AFFA Referee Committee Khagani Mammadov told Report commenting the removal of Qarabag footballer Dino Ndlovu from the game after giving him the second yellow card in the match with Atletico at the 3rd round of Champions League group stage.

He said French referee Ruddy Buquet made a mistake by punishing the African striker in the 75th minute of the match. The Committee chairman said Ndlovu also played a role that penalty was not given by referee: “This was awkward behavior of rival. The referee should have given a penalty against Atletico. There is no talk about simulation. Ndlovu’s delayed and demonstrative falling misled the referee. In general, none of the cards shown to Qarabag striker was right. There was neither promising attack, no open foul in the first yellow card. In the second episode there was no need for card. The referees may commit a mistake. It is not right to present it as a bias, “ he said.

The match between Qarabag and Atletico ended in a goalless draw. Dino Ndlovu was removed from the game after receiving yellow cards in 59th and 75th minutes.
