AFFA disciplines Gabala and Neftchi due to fan incident - VIDEO

Baku. 23 October. REPORT.AZ/ AFFA Disciplinary Committee has announced the decision on the incident that occurred at the Gabala-Neftchi match in the 8th tour of the Azerbaijani Premier League.

Report informs citing the website of the Professional Football League that Neftchi was fined 1600 AZN as the club’s fans threw foreign objects  to the pitch in the 62nd minute. Gabala representative was subjected to the analogical disciplinary measure for the same behavior.

Seats in the sector of Neftchi fans were broken. The damage caused to the stadium will be paid by Neftchi according to the estimate presented by Gabala.

Besides, Temkin Khalilzadeh will miss next match as he had two yellow cards. Meanwhile, his team was fined 200 AZN.

Notably, Gabala - Neftchi match ended with 3:1 score.
