AFFA Disciplinary Committee unveils penalty for Sumgayit’s Coach and Goalkeeper

The AFFA Disciplinary Committee has announced a penalty for the incidents that occurred during the Sumgayit - Neftchi match within the 20th round of the Azerbaijan Premier League.

Report informs that head coach of the "youth city" representative Aykhan Abbasov was disqualified for one match, goalkeeper Mehdi Jannatov will miss three matches. Jannatov received a red card at the 78th minute of the game for his aggressive behavior. Abbasov violated the rules of the technical zone in the 85th minute. The club was fined AZN 2,400 for the head coach, and the heach couch was fined AZN 800 for violations.

Local fans threw foreign objects in the 82nd and 84rd minutes. For this reason, the club was subjected to 1600 AZN in fine.

At the same time, 4 football players of Sumgayit and eight football of Neftchi received yellow cards. For this reason, the clubs have been fined AZN 800 AZN.
