AFFA Disciplinary Committee fined clubs

Baku. 7 February.REPORT.AZ/ The Disciplinary Committee of the AFFA (Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan) has held a next meeting.

Report informs, in the meeting, several punishments were imposed in regard with matches of the Azerbaijan Premier League XVI round.

Player Sadio Tounkara was punished for one match for a second yellow card and removal from pitch during the 45+3 minute of AZAL – Qarabag match, the club fined for 200 AZN. Gabala FC fined for 800 AZN as 4 players received yellow cards in match with Neftchi. Gabala FC coach Roman Hryhorchuk and Neftchi coach Oleksandr Deriberin disqualified for one match for violating technical area rules in the 90+1 minute. The club was fined in the amount of 1.600 AZN as Hryhorchuk made the violation for the second time, while Neftchi was fined 800 AZN. If similar case occurs again, more severe sanctions will be imposed on the clubs.

Zira and Kapaz fined for 800 AZN as the club's players received 5, guests 4 yellow cards. Zira FC player César Meza Colli received red card and removed from pitch in the 28th minute of the game and Kapaz FC player Renan da Silva in the 90+3 minute for aggressive behavior. For this reason, both players were punished for 2 matches, club was fined 1.600 AZN.
