Dynamo Kyiv appoints new manager

Romanian former player Mircea Lucescu appointed the new head coach of the Ukrainian Football Club Dynamo Kyiv. Report informs referring to the official website of the club.

A 2 + 1-year contract has been signed with the 75-year-old specialist. Lucescu replaces Oleksiy Mykhaylychenko, who resigned.

Notably, Mircea Lucescu won the UEFA Cup (now the Europa League) with Ukrainian Shakhtar in the 2008/2009 season.
