Ziraat Bank Azerbaijan opens 4th branch

Ziraat Bank Azerbaijan OJSC opened its fourth branch in Sumgayit on October 25.

The opening ceremony was attended by Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Chavushoglu, Head of the Sumgayit City Executive Power Zakir Farajov, Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Erkan Ozoral, Member of Board of Ziraat Bank Turkey’s Feyzi Chutur, Chairman of the Board of Ziraat Bank Azerbaijan OJSC Avni Demirci, Ambassador of Northern Cyprus to Azerbaijan Ufuk Turgan, Azerbaijani businessmen and Turkish businessmen operating in Azerbaijan.

Chavushoglu received Ziraat Bank Azerbaijan’s ‘Bankkart’ from A. Demirchi. The chairman spoke about the 4th branch of the bank and noted that they chose Sumgayit in order to support steps towards development of production in Azerbaijan.

"As Ziraat Bank Azerbaijan OJSC we aim to develop the trade between Azerbaijan and Turkey and will increase the number of branches where the economy is dynamic," he said.
