World Bank includes Azerbaijan in list of countries with Upper Middle-Income

Baku. 21 September. REPORT.AZ/ World Bank has included Azerbaijan in the list of countries with Upper Middle-Income.

Report informs, along with Azerbaijan, 55 countries of the world included in the list.

According to the information, although Georgia, Turkey and Russia took place on the same list with Azerbaijan, Armenia is among Lower Middle-Income countries. Along with Armenia a total of 52 countries are included in this list.

Notably, WB has allocated countries into 4 groups in this category. First group is Low-Income countries, which includes 31 countries. There are 82 countries included in group of High-Income countries.

Notably, a total of 200 countries are in the list.
