Baku. 8 May. REPORT.AZ/ Non-oil sector increased by 2.7% last year in Azerbaijan.
Report informs, it is said in new report titled “Cryptocurrencies and Blockchain: Europe and Central Asia Economic Update” of World Bank.
According to the document, the highest growth has been experienced in transport sector among non-oil fields which was by 8.5%. 6.6% rise was in IT sector, 5.9% in tourism and 4.2% in agriculture.
"Dropping of oil prices led to decline of gross domestic products (GDP) by 5%. Annual inflation dropped from 15.6% in 2016 to 7.9% in 2017. The highest price was observed in food products that was by 9.4%".
