Venezuela refuses dollar

Baku. 17 October. REPORT.AZ / As a result of US sanctions against the Bolivarian Republic, Venezuela refused to sell the dollar in the foreign exchange market.
Report informs citing RT that the due statement was provided by Vice President Tarek El-Aissami.
According to him, restrictive measures "block the possibility of continuing to trade with US dollar in the Venezuelan currency market." Now the Euro will be used instead of dollar.
Notably, Washington's decision to impose sanctions against Venezuela was made after the presidential elections, which Nicolas Maduro won. The White House refused to recognize the results of these elections.
