Velocity of Azerbaijani manat’s circulation decreases

Velocity of circulation of the Azerbaijani manat as of December 1 last year was 4.62 points, Report informs referring to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).

This is 0.02 points lower compared to November 1, 0.73 points lower compared to the beginning of last year and 0.75 points higher relative to December 1, 2021.

According to statistics, the velocity of circulation of the manat in January 2015, shortly before the first devaluation, reached a 17-year low (2.68). The maximum value was recorded in 2005 (15.72).
