Tshwane seeks investors and technical partners for water and electricity projects

The City of Tshwane metropolitan municipality, where the capital of South Africa is located, intends to present investment projects in water supply, electricity supply, housing construction, and urban infrastructure development to the international community in June, Nasiphi Moya, Executive Mayor of the City of Tshwane, said during a panel session held within the framework of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum 13 in Baku, according to Report.

"On June 29, our city will host an infrastructure investment summit. During the event, all participants will be presented with investment projects in the fields of water supply, electricity supply, housing construction, and urban infrastructure modernization.

We are ready to cooperate with partners who understand our reality and are willing to work jointly with us from the very beginning. At the same time, we are counting not only on financial support - technical expertise is also extremely important for us, as we are beginning to address challenges we have not faced before. Tshwane is a city with a high level of social inequality, and any partnership must take into account the needs of our most vulnerable citizens," the mayor emphasized.
