Tourists' expenditures in Azerbaijan decrease twice

The July issue of the Export Review of the Center for Economic Reforms Analysis and Communication mentioned that the coronavirus pandemic situation has affected the tourism sector of Azerbaijan, as in other countries. 

As a result of this, the volume of operations carried out by foreign citizens through bank cards in Azerbaijan in June 2020 amounted to AZN 23.7 million, so it is AZN 91.4 million or 79.4% less than in 2019.

In January-June 2020, foreigners conducted AZN 279.7 million transactions, which is AZN 311.1 million or 52.7% less than in the first half of last year.
