Surplus in Azerbaijan’s BoP exceeds $3B 

A surplus in Azerbaijan’s Balance of Payment (BoP) in 2021 amounted to $3,081.4 million, while there was a deficit of $1,987.7 million in 2020, Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).

According to the Bank, the surplus was formed by a surplus of $8,291.6 million in the current account, a gap of $4.2 million in the capital account, a gap of $5,052.4 million in the financial account and a gap of $153.6 million in net errors and omissions.
