SOCAR bondholders get their next interest profits

Baku. October 17. REPORT.AZ/ The next interest payment on SOCAR bonds has been made today.

SOCAR Capital LLC told Report that $12.5 interest for each bond was transferred to the accounts of SOCAR bondholders, which makes up $1.25 million in total.

This is the eighth interest payment on SOCAR bonds.

The annual yield of bonds with a nominal value of $ 1.000 is 5%. Interests are paid every 3 months. Now, SOCAR bonds are the most traded financial instruments on the country's securities market.

Demand for SOCAR bonds in the primary market was twofold higher than the amount of issuance, transaction in the secondary market nears $170 million. Thus, these indicators show that the bonds have drawn attention of both individuals and legal entities.

The main advantages of SOCAR bonds are purchase price guarantee by SOCAR, their high liquidity, convenience of transactions and provision of interest payments on schedule.

REPO transactions with SOCAR bonds were launched in November 2017. REPO transactions allow the SOCAR bondholders to borrow at low interest rates by placing their securities.

SOCAR bond owners are also allowed to borrow for long-period. They can get manat loans with annual interest of 15-16% by pledging their bonds.

SOCAR bonds can be purchased in ASAN service centers No 1 and No 5.
