Sahib Mammadov: Azerbaijan aims to strengthen its financial stability

At the new stage of strategic development, Azerbaijan aims to strengthen the competitiveness, innovation orientation, and financial stability of the national economy, Deputy Minister of Economy Sahib Mammadov said at an event on the "Green transformation in Azerbaijan: Sustainable Development Goals."

"Goals such as the activation of sustainable economic growth drivers, a transformation of the country into a green energy space, environmental health, and rapid reintegration of our territories freed from occupation were selected as targets. By accepting global trends and challenges, Azerbaijan has entered a qualitatively new strategic phase for the pandemic and post-conflict period covering 2021-2030. In this framework, the government of Azerbaijan has defined five national priorities aimed at long-term evolutionary paths in the direction of the socio-economic development of the country and the protection of the environment in the coming decade," he said.
