Reserve assets of balance of payments in Azerbaijan reduced by 4.6 billion USD

Baku. 13 June. REPORT.AZ/ According the Balance of Payments for the first quarter of 2015, the volume of reserve assets in the reporting period decreased by 4,590 mln dollars.

Report informs referring to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, positive balance of  the current account and capital in the amount of 57.6 million manats and deficit of the financial account in the amount of 4 363,9 mln. manats recorded in January-March this year.

Reduction in reserve assets began with the IV quarter of 2014, ie since the beginning of the fall in oil prices on the world market and for that period it was amounted to 1 193 million dollars.During the first quarter of the current year as a result of lower oil prices and capital outflows reserve assets even more reduced.

According to analysts of Report, in the second quarter of this year, the negative balance of the reserve assets will decline significantly.
