Baku. 13 November. REPORT.AZ/ The most important economic news for the global financial markets during the week of November 13-17 will be announced in the United States, Great Britain, Eurozone and Canada.

Analytical Group of Report News Agency has defined top 5 economic news that may influence global financial market this week:

1) On November 15 at 17:30 Baku time, The US Department of Commerce will announce October inflation forecast. Notably,analysts predict that monthly inflation will be 0.1% while annual inflation - 1.7%. Base inflation rate is expected to be 0.2%. Notably, the surplus of inflation forecasts will have a direct impact on the Fed's discount rate. At the same time, the indicator on the volume of retail sales in the United States in October will be announced. This figure is expected to increase by 0.1%. Notably, the growth indicator of retail sales reflects direct economic growth. Thus, consumer spending constitutes 70% of the US economic growth;

2) On November 14 at 13:30 Baku time, the October inflation rate will be announced in the UK. Analysts predict inflation will reach 3.1 per cent year-on-year, which is the peak of the last 5 years.

Meanwhile, unemployment and retail sales figures in the UK will be in the spotlight;

3) On November 16 at 14:00 Baku time, European Central Bank (ECB) will announce October inflation rate. Analysts predict annual inflation will be 1.4%. In addition, the base inflation indicator will take center stage. This figure is expected to make 0.9% which is 5 months minimum. This will directly affect the ECB's monetary policy. Monetary stimulus will continue, and the discount rate will be increased later. As a result, the depreciation of the euro exchange rate may be observed;

4) On November 17 at 17:30 Baku time, October inflation forecast will be announced. Experts believe, inflation will be 0.1%. Annual inflation is projected to be 1.4%;

5) On November 14, ECB’s panel discussion will be held in Frankfurt. ECB President Mario Draghi, Fed Head Janet Yellen, Governor of the Bank of England Mark Carney and Governor of the Bank of Japan Haruhiko Kuroda will attend the meeting.

The topic of the discussion will be "Key element in Monetary policy: Central banks' problems and cooperation opportunities".
