Baku. 12 March. REPORT.AZ/ The most important global economic news for the global financial market from March 12 to 18 will be announced in USA, eurozone, Switzerland and China.

Analytical Group of Report News Agency has defined below top 5 economic news that may influence the global financial market this week:

1) On March 13, at 4.30 pm Baku time, the US Department of Commerce will announce inflation figures for February. Analysts believe that this figure would be 0.2%, quite lower than in January. It is also expected that the base inflation may fall by 0.1% to 0.2% compared to January;

2) On March 14, at 17:30 Baku time, the US Department of Commerce will announce the volume of retail sales for February.According to the Consensus forecast, this figure is expected to increase by 0.3%.Increase in retail sales indicates an improvement in economic growth.Thus, consumer spending makes about 70% of GDP growth in U.S.

During the week, key indicators such as producer price index, number of construction licenses, and number of newly constructed houses will be announced;

3) On March 14, the National Bureau of Statistics of China will announce the volume of industrial production in February. At the same time, the volume of investments in fixed capital and retail sales will also be announced.

4) On March 15, the Swiss Central Bank will announce its decision on discount rate. Analysts forecasting rate to be maintained at 0.75%. Economists also expect the Swiss Central Bank to take a similar step after European Central Bank (ECB) would increase rate;

5) Inflation indicator for February will be announced in Eurozone on 16 March. Price increase is expected to be 1.2% in annual terms, which is 0.1% less than in January. Base inflation is expected to be 1%.
