Ranking of leading countries - trade partners of Azerbaijan

Baku. 28 August. REPORT.AZ/ In January-July 2014 Italy maintained its leadership in the list of countries - trade partners of Azerbaijan.

As Report was told in the State Customs Committee, for the period under review the turnover between Azerbaijan and Italy amounted to 3.207 billion dollars, or 17.7% of the total turnover of the country.

On the second line is Indonesia, which accounted for 9.3% of the total turnover of Azerbaijan. Trade turnover between the two countries amounted to 1.684 bln dollars.

In the third place is Germany, turnover which reached 1.434 bln dollars or 7.91% of the total trade of Azerbaijan.

The top ten trade partners of Azerbaijan also includes Russia - 1,081 bln dollars (6%), France - 996,961 mln dollars (5.5%), Turkey - 970,315 mln dollars (5.4%), US - 814,373 mln dollars (4.5%), Israel - 781,507 mln dollars (4.3%), India - 605,690 mln dollars (3.34%) and Spain - 466,187 mln dollars (2.6%).

During the period the largest importer of Azerbaijan was Italy. Goods delivered in this country worth $ 3.065 bln dollars, accounting for 23.1% of total exports of Azerbaijan.

The largest exporter was Russia, which has delivered goods to Azerbaijan worth $ 698,038 mln dollars, accounting for 14.3% of the total imports of Azerbaijan for 7 months of the current year.
