Problem loans of the foreign bank made 61% of loan portfolio

Baku. 12 November. REPORT.AZ/ Assets of the branch of Pakistan National Bank in comparison with the beginning of the year decreased by 2.49%, and as of October 1 totaled to 10.9 million manats. Report informs referring to the bank, during this period the bank issued 2.2 million manats to customers, which is 11.2% lower in comparison with the beginning of the year. The volume of overdue loans as of October 1 of this year amounted to 1.357 million manats, or 61.4% of the total loan portfolio.

The deposit portfolio of the bank since the beginning of the year grew by 32.5% - from 648.7 to 859.5 thousand manats. During the reporting period, deposits of individuals increased by 2.2 times - up to 102.2 thousand manats.

As of October 1 of this year, the authorized capital of the bank amounted to 9.4 million manats, total capital - 9.7 mln. manats. It's less by 5 times than indicated in the requirements of the Central Bank of the minimum authorized capital (50 mln. AZN).
