Payments of 'Silkway Insurance' increased sharply

Baku. 23 August. REPORT.AZ/ In January-July 2016, insurance fees of Silkway Insurance totaled 16 849 690 AZN, Report informs, the insurance company said.

According to the information, this is more by 9,8% in comparison with the same period of last year.

During the reporting period payments of the insurance company increased sharply. Thus, during 7 months company made insurance payments in the amount of 244 364 AZN. This is 6,56 times more compared to the same period of 2015.

In January-July 2016 Silkway Insurance has paid 1,45 AZN of premiums back to customers per collected 100 AZN. In January-July 2015, the ratio was 0,24%.

Notably, PASHA Insuranceestablished in 2011 on the basis of Azal Sigorta OJSC and belongs to Silkway Holding LLC. Its registered capital is 14,77 mln AZN. This amount formed on the basis of 17 500 shares with par value of 844 AZN.

38.7% of the shares owned by Jamila Asgarova Jahangir, 38.7% - Malahat Asgarova Jahangir, 19% - "Silkway Airlines" LLC, 3.6% - "Azerbaijan Airlines" CJSC.
