OECD warns investors on high prices in economy

Baku. 28 November. REPORT.AZ/ The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) has warned investors about high prices in the world economy.

Report informs citing the Bloomberg, the OECD said in 2018 that the level of asset prices in the world would reach a peak, and that any stagnation would start badly.

The next year, the organization said its assets would reach its maximum in the last 8 years. However, then the rise in prices will stop because of the expected decline in investment and the rise in global debt.

The OECD estimates that the global economy will grow by 3.6% in 2017 and 3.7% in 2018.

In 2019, the economic growth is expected to decline again to 3.6%. Notably, OECD predicted that global economic growth would be 3.5% in previous forecasts.
