New CEO in Management of AccessBank Azerbaijan appointed

Baku. 1 June. REPORT.AZ/ Upon expiry of his term as Chairman of the Management Board of AccessBank, Dr. Rolf Reichard leaves the Bank on May 31st. Dr. Rolf Reichard will join AccessHolding in Berlin, Germany. First Deputy Chairman of the Management Board and Chief Operating Officer (COO) Anar Hasanov will temporarily take the position of Chairman of the Management Board. Report was told in the bank.

The candidacy of Anar Hasanov to the position of Chairman of the Management Board has been nominated and will be applied for at the Financial Markets Supervisory Authority for the consideration.

Mr. Hasanov, one of the most experienced bankers in the country, has been working for AccessBank for more than 15 years. From the time of AccessBank`s creation, Mr. Gasanov began his career as a Micro Loans Specialist. Later, he was promoted to Chief Loan Officer and moved to the newly created SME Department. Gasanov was appointed as the Head of Retail Banking Department in July 2006 and was elected to the Management Board in September 2007. Mr. Hasanov has been appointed as Deputy Chairman of AccessBank's Management Board since September 2013, and First Deputy Chairman of the Management Board and Chief Operating Officer (COO) since 2017.

Anar Hasanov studied Finance at the Faculty of Economics at the University of Istanbul and obtained a Master's degree in Banking and Credit at the Azerbaijan State Economic University. Anar Hasanov has also graduated from the Banking School at the University of Pennsylvania.

It should be noted that for the first time during the activity of AccessBank the candidacy of the local candidate was nominated by the Supervisory Board as the Chairman of the Board.
