NBC Bank posts 2.5-fold decline in profit

Baku. 21 January. REPORT.AZ/ The assets of NBC Bank OJSC stood at AZN 283,376,000 as of January 1, 2019, up 38.8% year-on-year, Report informs citing information from the bank.

Bank says the loan portfolio rose by 32.4% settling at AZN 204,468,000, with 5.26% in overdue loans, while liabilities surged by 53% to settle at AZN 225,274,000, deposit portfolio advanced by 43.9% settling at AZN 106,426,000, authorized capital stood at AZN 64,000,000, regulatory capital at AZN 58,103,000.

The bank ended 2018 on AZN 1,150,000 in profit, down 2.5-fold in comparison to a year earlier. The bank earned AZN 17,571,000 in interests, AZN 3,386,000 in non-interest incomes and had  AZN 11,023,000 in interest expenditures and  AZN 7,660,000 in non-interest spending, while allocations for special reserves amounted to AZN 1,124,000.
