Turnover of National Depository Center soars by 89%

Baku. 26 July. REPORT.AZ/ The "National Depository Center" (NDC) registered 1,709 transactions in January-June, 2017.

Report informs citing NDC, this figure shows by 285 transactions or 20% increase in compare with January-June of last year.

In the first 6 months, 68.8% or 1,176 exchange dealings, 11.5% or 196 ex-pit transactions, 19,7% or 337 additional emissions deals (initial market) were registered.

In compare with the previous year, number of exchange dealings increased by 10,3% or 110 deals, ex-pit transactions by 18,8% or 31, additional emissions deals by 74,6% or 144.

During reporting period the total value of NDC registered transactions made 3 117 251 745 AZN, which shows increase by 88,9% or 1 466 785 624 AZN in compare with January-June, 2017.

In the first 6 month 2017, NDC concluded contract with 16 issues body, which is less by 53% or 18 deals in compare with the same period of last year.

Notably, NDC is a non-profit legal entity established by the Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FIMSA) as a central depository.
