"Moody's" retains credit rating of Azerbaijan

Baku. 1 August. REPORT. AZ / Moody's International Rating Agency has affirmed the credit rating of Azerbaijan. Report informs citing the Moody's, the rating update was provided on the basis of surveys conducted quarterly due to the agency's program.

Azerbaijani government's credit rating retained at Ba1, outlook negative as identified earlier.

Notably, Moody's credit rating agency on 5 February 2016 has reduced credit rating of Azerbaijan from Baa3 to Ba1 level, outlook stable. The credit rating agency's outlook for the country on April 29, 2016 reported negative.
