Moody’s downgrades outlook on troubled loans in Azerbaijan

"As at the end of 2019, the share of troubled loans in the loan portfolio of Azerbaijan’s banking sector is expected to drop to 10%," Peter Paklin, Assistant Vice President at Moody's Investors Service, said at the annual conference of the Moody’s on Azerbaijan, Report informs.
"Before Azerbaijani President’s order on solution of the troubled loans, which was unexpected for us, the share of troubled loans was expected to drop to 12% by the end of 2019. Now, we think that this figure will be at a lower level," he added.
