Monetary base in Azerbaijan up 2%

As of June 1, the monetary base in Azerbaijan amounted to 14,883.6 million manats ($8.17 billion), up 2.2% more than May 1, Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
The monetary base in the country decreased by 17% compared to the beginning of the year and increased by 7.4% over the past year.
