Monetary base in Azerbaijan sharply increased

Baku. 3 October. REPORT.AZ/ In September, monetary base in Azerbaijan rose to 698.3 million manats, or 10.99%, but in October 1, 2015 made 7 050 400 000 manats.

Report informs referring to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan Republic (CBAR), since the beginning of the year this figure was reduced to 38.91%, in comparison with the same period of last year - by 38.93%.

Since January of this year, a reduction in May and September was replaced by a temporary increase. In May, the increase by 2.4% observed.

As of January 1, monetary base in this year amounted to 11 541.9 million manats, in February 1 - 10 551.0 mln manats as of March 1 - 9 109.9 million manats, as of April 1 - 8339 4 mln. manats, as of May 1 - 7 418.6 million manats, as of June 1 - 7 597.3 million manats, as of July 1 - 7 487.0 mln. manats, as of August 1 - 7 467.5 mln. manats, as of September 1 - 6 352.1 million manats.
