Ministry of Taxes makes structural changes

Baku. 21 December. REPORT.AZ/ According to order of Minister of Taxes Fazil Mammadov a number of structural changes have been made in the Ministry of Taxes.

Report informs, Tax Crimes Analysis and Tax Debt Collection General Directorate and Tax Audit and Operative Control General Directorate were canceled and Department  of Monitoring for Tax Legislation Implementation and Department of Monitoring for Tax Obligations Implementation were established.

Taxpayer Services Department canceled and was replaced with Taxpayer Service and Transparent Tax Partnership Department.

Baku City Taxes Department and Tax Department No. 1 under the Ministry of Taxes were eliminated and Special Revenues Department under the Ministry of Taxes, Local Revenues Department under the Ministry of Taxes, and Department for Work with Small Entrepreneurs under the Ministry of Taxes have been created.

According to the ministry, structural changes have been made in accordance with Azerbaijani President’s order dated August 4, 2016, “On improvement of tax administration and approval of directions of reforms in taxation in 2016".
