Ministry of Finance of Azerbaijan: Standard & Poor's report has inaccuracies

Baku. 30 January. REPORT.AZ/ Ministry of Finance of Azerbaijan disagreed with the results of the assessment and stated its regret about inaccuracies in a report published by "Standard & Poors" rating agency. Report informs it was stated in a press release issued by the Ministry of Finance.

The ministry hopes that the agency will restore Azerbaijan's ratings: " On January 29," Standard & Poor's "agency, reduced International credit rating of Azerbaijan on one step.

Earlier, on December 31, 2015, the agency approved International credit rating of Azerbaijan as "BBB-," the forecast kept at "negative".According to the agency's latest report the main reason for decreasing International credit rating of Azerbaijan down by a step is connected with oil prices drop, it shows the effect of the country's economic growth and macroeconomic stability.
