MBNP: Liquid assets in banking sector approach 7 bln AZN

Baku. 1 March. REPORT.AZ/ Liquid assets in Azerbaijan's banking sector reached 6.7 bln. AZN which is 24% of total assets.

Report informs, deputy executive director of the Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FIMSA) Asim Zulfugarov said.

Moreover, according to him, capital growth continues in sector: “At present, there are appeals to the FIMSA about increase by 400 mln AZN. Although, 11 out of 30 banks in the country are working with loss”.
