Credit rates decreased in Azerbaijan

Baku. 18 February. REPORT.AZ/ Average percentage rates for loans both in USD and AZN have dropped in Azerbaijan.

Report informs referring to monthly report of Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).

Average rate for AZN loans dropped by 0.13 percent in monthly estimation and makes 12.05%, while that for foreign currency features overall 8.60% after 0.56 percent drop.

During this period, average percentage rate for loans given to individuals in manats dropped from 16.07 to 15.71%, while rate for loans in foreign currency dropped from 17.30 to 16.04. Manat loans for legal entities also cheapened, while those in foreign currency gained cost. Thus, percentage rate for AZN loans to legal entities slightly jumped from 8.36 to 8.55%. Average rate for loans given to legal entities in foreign currency is down from 5.71 to 5.59%.
