Level of deviation from statutory audit reaches 98% in Azerbaijan

Baku. 15 September. REPORT.AZ/ A number of contracts for provision of audit services has reduced in Azerbaijan.

Chamber of Auditors told Report, in the first half of this year, 2042 contracts for audit services have been signed. This is less 10% than the previous year.

Azerbaijan has very low levels of the statutory audit. In 2015, only 1 458 of 67,500 subjects audited in the country. 

Thus, 97.8% subjects have avoided the audit.
