Japan to provide Ukraine with loan of $100M

An agreement to provide Ukraine with a $100 million loan has been signed with the Japan International Cooperation Agency, Report informs referring to the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine.
“Today, Minister of Finance of Ukraine Serhiy Marchenko and President of JICA Akihiko Tanaka signed a loan agreement to provide Ukraine with a loan in the amount of $100 million on favorable terms,” the statement said.
This is the first part of the financial assistance agreed between Ukraine and Japan, it will be directed to the state budget, designed primarily to support the most vulnerable segments of the population.
