Investments in oil sector of Azerbaijan increased by 12%

Baku. 15 June. REPORT.AZ/ In January-May of the current year the volume of investments in oil sector of Azerbaijan's economy amounted to 2 758.8 million manats, which is 12.1% more in comparison with the same period of last year.

Report informs referring to the State Statistical Committee, investment in non-oil sector at an annual rate decreased by 0.1% and amounted to 3 657.5 million manats. 414 400 000 manats of this amount was spent on the development of non-oil industry. Of the funds directed to the non-oil sector, 55.0% accounted for by non-state enterprises and organizations.

In May, investments in oil sector increased by 15.3% in comparison with April of this year, non-oil sector declined by 16.5%. Thus, the volume of investments in the oil sector in April was 570.9 million manats, in May - 658.1 million manats, in the non-oil sector respectively 1 064.9 million AZN and 889.6 million AZN.

In January-May of 2015 on the development of the economic and social spheres of the country from all financial sources in fixed capital have been directed 6,416,300,000 manats.
