Investments in Azerbaijan’s fixed capital fall by nearly 9%

Baku. 14 December. REPORT.AZ/ Investments from all financial sources in Azerbaijan’s fixed capital stood at AZN 12,899,400,000 in January-November 2018, down 8.8% from the previous year, Report informs referring to the State Statistical Committee.
Of this, 69.9% was directed to construction works.
The decline was caused by lagging in the investments in oil sector. Investments in non-oil sector rose by 21.2%, including in non-oil industry - by 22.6%.
68.4% of investment was made in production fields, 23.5% in services, 8.1% in construction of residential houses with the total area of 1,844,300 square meters. Domestic investments constituted 63.1% of total investments.
In the structure of the investments in fixed capital, 50.4% was funds of enterprises and organizations, 12.6% - bank loans, 27.2% - budget funds, 7.1% - private funds, 2% - off-budget funds, 0.7% - other funds.
