International Bank of Azerbaijan meets new Chairman of Board

Baku. 10 January. REPORT.AZ/ Shareholders of International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBA) OJSC held an extraordinary general meeting.

Report informs, shareholders voted to appoint Khalid Nuraddin oglu Ahadov as Chairman of IBA Board of Directors.

K.Ahadov was appointed as interim chairman on December 8, 2016. K.Ahadov, who works in banking sectors since 1999, was deputy chairman of Bank of Baku OJSC and executive director of Unibank OJSC.

Notably, today is 25th anniversary since IBA’s foundation. Having been established on January 10, 1992, IBA serves its customers during 25 years; it is largest bank in Southern Caucasus region based on its assets, customer base, as well as international operations portfolio. Measures aimed at rehabilitation of IBA continue in conformity with respective decree of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on July 15, 2015.
