IMS suspends consultations with Azerbaijan

All IMF Article IV consultations have been suspended due to the COVID pandemic, said Aghgun Gadirli, Head of IMF Local Office in Azerbaijan, Report informs.

“The Article IV consultation with Azerbaijan, like those with other IMF members, will take place once the situation allows,” she said.

The last such consultations were held in June 2019.

Azerbaijan has been in cooperation with the IMF since September 18, 1992. The IMF allocated $577.3 million to Azerbaijan in 1995-2005 for the implementation of the economic reforms program.
