Green card against border fraud

"In order to avoid cases of fraud and fundamentally solve this problem, it is necessary to introduce a digital Green Card, Report informs, quoting the director of the Turkish bureau, Mehmet Akif Eroglu, as saying at the signing ceremony of the integrated protocol on the Green Card system between the Azerbaijan Compulsory Insurance Bureau (ISB) and the Turkish Road Transport Bureau.

"Cases of fraud against drivers with fake Green Cards have been recorded. Persons responsible for these fraud cases pay serious compensation," Akif Eroglu said.

According to him, in this regard, a working group has been set up under the Council of Bureau.

"Along with Azerbaijan, we are cooperating with neighboring countries such as Greece and Bulgaria. Fraud will be prevented by introducing the Green Card digital control system at the border. The implementation of our project in Azerbaijan is nearing completion. Today in Baku we held a presentation of the Green Card digital control system."
