Government of Azerbaijan developing anti-crisis plan

According to A.Masimli, it is incorrect, that the burden of 50% devaluation falls on the shoulders of the population:

"It is necessary to extend the monitoring, the prices should rise naturally.It is necessary to prevent the artificial rise in prices.In accordance with the natural growth of prices it is necessary to carry out indexation of wages and pensions.Manat will gradually stabilize with the development of small and medium businesses and non-oil sector.I hope that the government will manage to overcome the difficulties of 2016-2017 years", he added.

A. Masimli noted that Azerbaijan should be ready to the fall in oil prices on the world market to 25-30 USD / barrel, while the Central bank to take action.

Parliament Speaker Ogtay Asadov said that, Government and the Central Bank are preparing a plan of action in this regard: "Population will witness this in the coming days."
