Government mortgage lending rises 42% in Azerbaijan

Mortgage lending through Mortgage and Credit Guarantee Fund (MCGF) amounted to 325.5 million manats in January-November 2021, 42.3% higher than the same period in 2020, Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

In the reporting period, the loans refinanced by the MCGF showed a 2.9-fold increase to 378.8 million manats.

The funds attracted through the issue of securities soared 11.1% to 200 million manats.

The funds allocated from the state budget to the MCGF dropped 2.3-fold to 71.1 million manats.
