Baku. 1 October. REPORT.AZ/ As of August 1, 2018, the amount of funds allocated by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) for Azerbaijan stood at EUR 3.163 billion, down by EUR 18 million or 0.57% from the previous month.
Report informs that the share of private sector in loans remained unchanged at 25%. The number of projects financed by EBRD in Azerbaijan increased by one unit to 168.
The funds paid by Azerbaijan to the EBRD in the reporting period declined by EUR 6 million or 0.25% to EUR 2.352 billion. Operating assets of the bank in Azerbaijan increased by EUR 3 million or 0.31% to EUR 979 million.
The current portfolio on projects financed by EBRD in Azerbaijan dropped by EUR 7 million or 0.49% to EUR 1,433 billion.
Active project portfolio also saw an increase. The number of active projects of the EBRD in Azerbaijan increased by 1 unit or 2% to 50 units. The share of bank’s portfolio in Azerbaijan remained unchanged at 2%.
49.72% or EUR 709 million of EBRD's current portfolio was allocated for energy, 42.08% or EUR 600 million for infrastructure, 5.05% or EUR 72 million for industry, commerce and agribusiness, EUR 45 million or 3.16% financial institutions.
