Foreign investments in Azerbaijan’s economy decline

Baku. 17 October. REPORT.AZ/ In January-September 2018, foreign enterprises and organizations invested AZN 3,992,400,000 in Azerbaijan’s fixed capital, Report informs citing the State Statistical Committee.

According to the official statistics, AZN 361.4 million of these investments was made in September, AZN 396.3 million in August, AZN 342.1 million in July, AZN 466.2 million in June, AZN 447.7 million in May, AZN 592.2 million in April, AZN 489.1 million in March, AZN 437.6 million in February, and AZN 459.8 million in January. Thus, investments in the economy in August was 8.8% less than in the previous month.

AZN 3,217,000,000 or 80.6% of investments was made by investors from UK, Switzerland, Turkey, Malaysia, US, Japan, Russia, Iran and Czech Republic.
