Fitch confirms Britain's credit portfolio with negative outlook

Baku. 29 October. REPORT.AZ/ International agency Fitch confirmed the long-term sovereign default rating of Britain's issuer in national and foreign currencies on 'AA' level with negative outlook.

Report informs that the negative rating forecast features the remaining risk of 'tough' scenario of Brexit, which can have a negative impact in trade, investment and economic prospects of Britain in the long-term and middle-term perspectives, Fitch reports.

According to the agency, the country's GDP growth in 2018 will slow down to 1.3% from 1.7% in 2017.
